Before joining ComputerTalk, I worked at big tech companies — a great experience that taught me a lot and connected me with amazing people I still keep in touch with.

It’s been 20 years since I started with ComputerTalk, so it’s an interesting time to reflect on how I got here, what I’ve done, and what made me stay.

My journey with ComputerTalk began in September 2021. I worked with a recruiting agency and interviewed with ComputerTalk for an open position on their help desk. I heard back almost immediately and started shortly after.

My journey with ComputerTalk began in the fall of 2019. As a recent university grad, I was looking for my first full-time job and came across a Marketing position posted by ComputerTalk to my school’s job search platform. I applied and was soon invited in to interview for a Sales Operations position instead. Even from my first in-person interview, I had a good feeling about the company. The people I spoke to were so friendly and easy to talk to that I already felt like I belonged there.

My journey with ComputerTalk started in summer of 2017. I finished my last year of my Software Engineering degree from the University of Guelph in April and decided to take a well-deserved break after completing my degree.

My journey to ComputerTalk started at Wilfrid Laurier University; I was in my 4th year of a Communications Studies degree and was still figuring out what I wanted to do after graduating. I decided to go to the Waterloo Career Fair to see what employers were there and what piqued my interest.
