Victor Pawa: How mentorship and teamwork shaped my career at ComputerTalk

by Victor Pawa | Published On September 25, 2024

Ever since I started at ComputerTalk, my time here has been both rewarding and transformative. I've had the opportunity to grow professionally, collaborate with talented individuals, and contribute to meaningful projects that make a real impact.

When I first joined ComputerTalk as a fresh-faced grad with limited project management experience, I was a bit like a fish out of water. But instead of floundering, I found myself swimming with the best of them—thanks to the incredible mentorship and support I received.

At ComputerTalk, what’s truly cool is the way we balance guidance with independence. I was paired with seasoned project managers who shared their wisdom and, at the same time, gave me the space to dive into projects and learn by doing. It’s like having a personal coach who not only cheers you on but also gives you the freedom to run your own plays.

Seven years later...

Why have I stayed for over seven years? It’s simple. The people here aren’t just colleagues—they’re family. Whether it's brainstorming solutions or sharing a laugh over coffee (or both), the relationships I’ve built at ComputerTalk are what make coming to work every day a joy. Plus, the flexibility of hybrid work means I get the best of both worlds: a great team and a comfortable home office.
